I'm sitting at my favorite coffee shop enjoying a cup of coffee when I read the following on the window "I wish grownups could remember being KIDS". This made me reminisce about being a kid, running around all over town playing and enjoying all my neighborhood had to offer. We use to climb on everything for hours on end.
This got me thinking about workouts and training of course. When we were kids yes we were healthier but not just because we were younger. We didn't have the stresses and responsibilities that we do as grown-ups. This is why working out is so important. It's our "KID TIME"! It's our time to forget about all our worries and devote some time to just ourselves. We all need this. Our Bodies and our Minds need this. Don't you feel better after a workout? Of course you do!
So here's what I'm challenging all of you to do! Don't make the typical New Years Resolutions (blah....blah ...) that we always make. I'm going to get in shape this year, or I'm going to lose X amount of pounds this year.
Change your mindset and say I will be a "KID" at least 3hours a week. Take 3 hours a week and workout out. Whether it's a 1 hour workout 3x a week or 20 minutes a day. Get moving workout but look at it from the angle that it's your time to get in touch with yourself by expending some energy.
2010 is the year for us to enjoy life to the fullest by being responsible enough to devout more time to ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are your thoughts?
